The EU-Center runs the report:

"The style of opening tends towards regional economic development and the lessons draw from EU experience"

1:30- 3:30 p.m. on December 8th, 2006, Dr. Liu Xinzhi who is a member of Natural Dialectics Research Association and The Financial Council of Jilin Province is invited by EU-Center of Jilin University to give a report on the subject of "the style of opening tends towards regional economic development and the lessons draw from EU experience", which is held at the meeting room of Economic Institute (East Honor Building A0804). There are more than 80 economic postgraduates participate this activity, such like Wang Peng, Gao Zhenyong, Shi Weilin, Wang Honglai, Yang Sinai etc.

In the report, Dr. Liu Xinzhi goes deeply with theories such as economic basic operation principle,supplies theory, economy and orients theory, market expands theory, economic combination theory, etc. to analyze how to improve the regional economic development. By quoting the successful experience of EU countries, he concludes that the precisely location of economic is the key to improve the regional economic development and proposes that more cooperation and conversation with other regions should be brought into schedule by our government.
